Tribe Tools - Terms of Service
Tools on this website are subject to a relatively relaxed set of terms.
- If you use our tools, we assume you have read these terms and agree to them. If we're wrong, bummer. We're not mind readers and aren't going to send you a paper contract.
- The tools provided on this website are provided as-is and without warranty.
- The tools provided on this website are not guaranteed either to remain as they are or to change.
- Access to the tools provided on this website may be revoked at any time, with or without cause, and without notice.
- These terms may change at any time, without notice, and you should check them before using our services if you wish to know what they contain.
Unrelated third parties that irrationally ask us to tell you to follow their policies, despite we not being your mother, include but are not limited to:
- YouTube, who requires us to tell you they believe you are subject to the terms listed here.
- YouTube, who also requires us to tell you they believe you are subject to the privacy policy listed here.
- Anecdotally, YouTube also requires us to tell you the tools that do YouTube stuff use the YouTube API. I know, you are shooketh.
Feel free to do what you want as long as you obey our terms, because we aren't insane and aren't going to go after you for failing to do what some third party asks you to do.
Generally speaking, we do not collect any data about our users.
- Your data passes through third-party services before it hits our code, we don't control the vast majority of the universe and have no idea what they do with it.
- If you don't like the idea of us having access to your data, don't interact with our tools and we will likely never have any of your data.
- We may introduce data collection to identify problems with our tools or the way people use them.
- We intentionally limit the amount of data collected and the amount of time it is stored, because we don't want to be responsible for other peoples stuff.
- Notably, we don't seem to use any first-party cookies at this time. Third parties whose code is used in our tools might, just check your browser if you'd like to know for sure.
- We can technically change these terms at any time, just like any other party, to give us carte blanche rights to your data. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
You can contact us at info at our domain name (don't include subdomains, although it doesn't really matter if you do.) Please do not send weird stuff to us.
